New Dwarf Warrior 08/11/04 7:00 AM
Hi there guys, making my 2nd warrior, first was last year.. a level 7 kobbie that I hated ;)

I've decided to go Dwarf because I wub them, and to carry on the legacy of the Grimblades - Brogenn, Trogenn, Drogenn, Vrogenn, Hrogenn etc etc etc.

I have also decided to go Warrio because despite my reasoning with people and my brothers about Thanes, I have realised that they do need some wub, and I'm gonna try a warrior to duo with my brothers Aug/Cave shammy due to my 37 Thane having way too much downtime with power and HP.

Chances are I will keep using my thane because he's already 37, and I won't be able to stick with one class as basic as the warrior for 37 levels now, but I'm going to try it out;

Now, i'm going to go the traditional 50 50 28 spec, 1 handed.

Yet I am however undecided on the weapon skill to use;

Sword = Uber Ragnarok, but I personally don't like Sword because it doesn't seem a very Midgard-Like concept like Axe and Hammer hwich have the feel of 'Plant this in an alb!'

Hammer = Can't judge, my thane is -10 levels in it to his level, so I can't say anything about this.

Axe = Never had.

If someone could advise me that'd be nice.

A good warrior spec. would be 50 shield 50 sword and rest in parry. Since you are counting on a duo char. you shouldn't have to use throwing weapons. Sword is good because after you slam or brutilize an enemy you but out the 2 hander for uber rags. But then when stun is over go back to s/s FTW.

**Your frindly neighborhood mid smasher**
I play alb. but this is a good warrior spec. I fear these guys.

well!

i had a question that could fit in here..
i want to level a warrior and a shamanbot at the same time!
and im wondering if warrior is the best class to go when leveling the shaman and me!
i guess a buffed warrior is one of the best solo classes, since you could really take a beating and youll block a lot!..

what do you think?
and also, what race would be best for this duo/soloing style?

A good combo would be a Troll warrior, they hit so hard it is scary. Probably a good shaman would be a kobold because of their faster cast speed. I have used this combo many times on different servers. But if you want the ultimate, use a Troll Skald instead of a warrior. Skalds have mez, and FROST HAMMER IS PURE LOVE<3

skalds also have terrible defense compared to a warrior and will take more damage, which means the shammy will have to heal them more.

Warrior+ Aug/mend shammy is the best combo for the least amount of downtime and fastest kill ratio.
