Q. What happened to the 'Heel Clip' ability that was in the Pendragon notes for 1.91c?
A. After feedback and additional testing on Pendragon, Heel Clip was removed in 1.91d. Unfortunately, the note got lost in the shuffle. Some things that go up on Pendragon don't make the cut, usually we note them, but it got missed this time. Sorry about that.

From the Herald:Just a reminder that 1.90 is going live tomorrow, Wednesday, September 5, starting at 5:00 AM EST. If you want to get a head start patching, you can download the files from Pendragon tonighe after you're done playing for the night. (If you go back to live after patching to Pendragon, it will un-patch you.)

A big announcement? Hmm...what could it be?
Q. We've done the Green Knight encounter several times and have not gotten any loot to drop other then remains. Is this intentional, or does he still drop some of the nicer items that were associated with him?
A. The Bearded Wonder: Yes, he can still drop other items, but the only item that is set to drop all the time is the Remains. The others are set as a chance to drop, so it sounds like you just didn't beat the odds. Keep trying.
Q. When 1.90 goes live, are the Relics going to be reset?
A. The Keeper of the Devs assures us: Yes, we will need to reset all of the keeps and the relics when 1.90 goes live.

| 1.90 Coming Next Week |

We're planning on taking 1.90 live on Wednesday, September 5, and this time we're trying something new to lessen patching frustrations.
We'll be taking the servers down at 5:00 AM EST to start the patch, and we'll reopen the patchers early at around 10 AM to allow everyone to get a head start with patching. The actual game will open up later on (right now the estimates are at around 5:00 PM). As always this is tentative, so keep an eye here on the Herald for more updates and information as it becomes available. |

NEW THINGS AND BUG FIXES
- The guild gift weapons that are given out at levels 10, 15, 20, and 25 are now given by both trainers in the capital cities (Camelot and Jordheim) for all classes in Albion and Midgard. Tir na Nog has only one set of trainers for each class and so Hibernia is unaffected by this change.
- New pathing data has been loaded for all of the keeps.
- A number of art-related issues have been fixed.

A bit on the early side today, but I figured what the hey?
Q. Hello, you guys mentioned that you fixed the Fine Steel Longsword dye problem for 1.90. I sent in about Cuuldarach's Fang also, and have yet to see a note on it. Are you guys working on it, or did it just miss the patch notes?
A. Our Lady of the Jewels tells me that this has been fixed internally and should go up to testing soon, and live with 1.90. Thanks for bringing it to our attention!

- A new command has been added which allows guild members to deposit coin directly into that player’s guild bank. The command is as follows: '/gc deposit' [copper]
- The condemned door message will no longer show up on the interior door of houses.

It's Friday, and that can only mean one thing. It's Grab Bag Time!
Q. I have a question about bridge mechanics. A number of us have been in a debate on whether or not it is ok to jump on the beams that go under the bridge. A few say it's an exploit, and a few say it's not.
A. The Bearded Wonder explains: I'm assuming they mean the Midgard bridges in current NF on live. If they are, then yes, definitely not a place to hang out. The new bridges don’t have beams, so the point will be moot soon, but until then, you should probably stay away from the beams (and don't cross the streams, either).

Okay, I have officially lost it. On with the Grab Bag!
Q. In last week's grab bag you spoke of the error message “This client cannot update your Dark Age of Camelot installation because a large number of key files are missing or corrupted. Please re-install the game from your installation CD and try again.”
You only spoke of this in regards to the message being on the Pendragon test server. I reinstalled Trials of Atlantis just today and I am getting this error message while trying to update my live patcher as well as the test patcher.
